Fiber is an entire category of molecules that you'll find in food. It comes from plants and they have a monopoly on fiber. We are way too simplistic in just saying, hey, you should count how many grams your fiber and fiber is fiber. There are probably at least millions of different types of fiber. They all have their own unique structure from a biochemical perspective. And why do we need post-biotics? Post-biotic fibers release short chain fatty acids which help the gut microbes digest it better.
