We can say with confidence that the fold will look very similar to its predecessor in almost every way, except for the fact that the hinge appears to be slightly tighter this year. As a result, you won't have that gap, which honestly in regular use is not even an issue on the Z fold for,. But because competitors like Huawei and Xiaomi and Honor and even Google have managed to eliminate that gap, Samsung had no choice. I think it looks better. It's more symmetrical.
