It took about $20 million to redo the concert hall. It was renamed for Avery Fisher, who was the pioneering audio inventor in 1976. There's what's called the ABCDs of acoustics in a workplace. The first thing you want to do is absorb the sound with drapes, carpets, ceiling tiles and things that are going to actually soak in that noise. And the next thing you wants to do is you want to block it.
