I agree with every word you said. Oh, but my contention is the reason this used to be a relative contraindication is that people weren't using ultrasound. And I know today a lot of the CT surgeons are doing cannulations without ultrasound and doing a obese cannulation without an ultrasound is a real bear. A lot of times, not even possible. If we could see the vessels, we could get to them. It's going blind in a morbidly obese patient. It really doesn't work out well.
