I think Simon Baron Cohen's work was important for me and a lot of, you know, my, one of my first books I reread. He looked at what is it that creates evil in the world. Is that he's worked with people in on the autism spectrum. And he is aware that many of them experience what we would consider a lack of empathy. But if you were to present them with evidence that you hurt their feelings, they may not necessarily understand it initially. So this is just a different sort of pathway to their empathetic.
