The Numbers of Pedestrian Deaths in the United States

Only about 25% of the time is a driver's failure to yield the official cause of a pedestrian fatality. Of the pedestrians killed in fatal crashes in the United States 37% had been drinking with blood alcohol concentration of 0.08 or higher If you look at pedestrian fatalities among 25 to 34 year olds, the drunk walking number rises to 50%.
