The Importance of Human Diversity in Fantasy Races

Last episode I was really leaning towards having just humans be kind of the dominant species, the main or only civilization builders on this planet and I think I'm still there. But I will listen to your thoughts as well. Often when you see people using fantasy races, it feels like they're taking previous things that other people did oftentimes Tolkien. It feels less like strong world building and more like at best a good cover version.
