AGI Safety Is Not an Issue

There are just so many issues that are beyond the scope of our current knowledge or our immediate future knowledge at least. I have a strong belief that it is feasible to run AGI on an affordable number of computer chips. It seems very likely to me that once we know more information about how the human brain works, there's not really going to be anything stopping people from putting those algorithms on computer chips. If somehow I were convinced that it's just fundamentally impossible to put these algorithms on enough silicon that fits in the world supply of sand then I would no longer be interested in AGI safety.
