Cluster Headache Treatment Options

Matthew Robbins is an associate professor of neurology of Cornell medicine. He's also written the guidelines back in 2016 for the American Headache Society guidelines on treatment of cluster headache. For acute treatment, we have still wonderful treatments including a non-oral trip tan and Zulmatriptan nasal spray. We also have an external vagus nerve stimulator that can be used for episodic cluster headache where it has an FDA clearance.
