The u.K. Movement argued that their campaign would benefit men too. If housework was properly valued, they argued, the sexes would relate to each other better. In 20 13, venezuela began paying full time home makers a pension. But for many men, both leftists and traditionalists, this disruption to the idea of the family was too much. The movement dwindled in the 19 nineties, but has come alive again.
