Tim McGougan: Designers set out to solve the problem of how to show users potential matches that they might actually like. The first challenge is getting to a match, and then that someone says, I like you too. hinge wanted to get away from the swipe and get their users better matches. One of the design choices we made in the new version of hinge is that you land on a person's full profile.
