When we come to think about Jesus in context, what sources can we best rely on? I think one of the extraordinary things about Jesus is how much we do know about his world and his context. It's hugely different from, for example, the story of King Arthur where even though much more reason, people haven't really much clue whether we know really anything about Arthur. But with the time of Jesus and Palestine at time, we have a lot of information. We've got Roman sources of all sorts.
