Shannon Gilbert's body was found in Oak Beach, which is just down the road from Gilgo Beach. Shannon had been making her living as a sex worker in the New York metro area and had ended up on Long Island to meet a client she met online. She matched the physical profile of the women that the predator of the Mannerville 2 and Gilgo 4 had been stalking.
