The History of Witch Trials

Trial records are very, very lengthy trial records and they often just don't end with a clear verdict so it was partly using these records that made my questions shift I wasn't so interested in the why of persecution but more about the people who then ended up being put on trial. For me it was a lot about reading for resistance how did people try and resist this accusation of witchcraft and how do they try and eke out a narrative themselves as good as opposed to evil. These sources can be really interesting in getting a glimpse on two people's emotions and subjectivities.
