Egypt and the Middle East: What Can They Do?

Egypt is a country that does affect its neighborhood greatly, both positively and negatively. I think the bigger question in terms of the international response is what can they do, because they can't bail Egypt out and they won't. The countries that are very transparent with their citizens this is taxpayers money across the board. And then also on a wider geopolitical map we have issues between the Gulf States and the United States and Europe versus the great power competition as you spoke of Russia and China on the other side. Those kinds of security questions create a fair of a United States that isn't very present if not visible.
