Functional Ticks and Autism Spectrum Disorder

There's a major decrease in the number of ticks patients have, the frequency and severity of their ticks and tick related impairment over time. I think that as everything we need to be very accurate in the way we screen and assess for these comorbidities. We see certainly less ADHD and OCD than we would see in a population of patients with Tourette syndrome. And now probably I'm seeing maybe one new patient a week with functional ticks. It hasn't come down to the proportion of functional ticks that we saw prior to the pandemic, but it's dropped significantly.
