How to Engage People in Active Imagination

Sally Kohn: I wonder if you ever engage people to use their writing to kind of dig a little deeper and pull out the messages that the self would really love to say. She asks authors to look at a piece of writing and identify the images that are already on the page in the prose. "Active imagination is indispensable for me when I'm working with authors," she says.
