The Myth of the Middle Ages

People tend to use middle ages to mean the ire era from the fall of the roman empire, which happened more or less in the four hundreds. So if you want to put nice, neat numbers on it, you can say it's basically the era from 500 to 15 hundred - that age of about a thousand years. There were enormous changes, exploration, inventions, political changes, that happened within that age. And of course, there were also major continuities in how society worked, a in law nd in customs, in art,. and that continued through from the late middle Ages into the modern era.
