Boost Mode on the ASUS ROG Ally?
I really do hope there is actually a boost mode in there because I suspect that just having increased frequency on the CPU could be quite transformative. But maybe it would be like a boost mode toggle where it's like using your own parallel. Yeah, this is a tricky one. I kind of advocate that it's a good idea, but giving visibility to it on current gen systems could be a bad thing. This made me wonder why the hardware in the ASUS ROG ally is claimed as having up to 8.6 teraflops versus the steamed x 1.6,. which obviously doesn't translate in such a difference in real world performance as we've seen so far.
