Are You Living Paycheck to Paycheck?

I just wondered if you had thoughts about a Peter Koi piece in the Times. People will say they're living paycheck to paycheck but then if you ask them they have extra money around or there's a lot more going on there. I don't think it really that the thought really applies for the Alice household to often don't have that slack would be my guess. Three quarters of folks above the Alice threshold can cover that expense whereas about a quarter of Alice households can covered that expense. That's a perfect example of if you want to understand the US economy looking at those averages okay about half folks can can do it.
