Kafka's Unfinished Book
I don't see how this is a classic, except that people who love the puzzle of difficult literature can go to town on this and never get a real answer. Because it wasn't done. And that's fucking frustrating. I don't know how much more, aside from redoing it, would have cleared it up. He might have edited. He may have cut it down. Maybe a lot of these passages would have been replaced,. Or were collapsed in some way. It would have been better. If Kafka finished the book, he probably would have been in it more.
