The Art of the Agora in Ancient Greece

By about 550 BC, all the capital polis, except for Sparta, married at the title of True Urban Centers. The Greek world was also flooded with small mold made and clearly mass produced terracotta female figurines that had the same style as Dedelic. By the end of the 7th century BC, a uniquely Greek artistic creation of life-size or larger sculptures of marble had become the temple offering of choice.
