The Angel Isn't Telling Joseph, He Will Be the Son of David

In Matthew one, it says that he knew her not. He had no relations with her until she brought forth that first one and he called his name Jesus. It will be now his child, even though it's fathered by God. But the point here is that there's one thing Mary got told that Joseph wasn't told in this revelation. And that's that the child would be the son of David, the Messiah.
