Focus on the Message, Not on Yourself

One of the things you talked about in the book was to focus on your message, not on yourself. You mentioned this sort of warmth and its natural as we talk about this. But when we think about intent, especially in a business setting, we're actually asking a lot of very subtle questions about intent. We can be good colleagues, we can be bad colleagues, but all of that is about intent. That's what we need to be able to do better online.
