I watched all the people who were like successful when I was a kid actor have terrible experiences and be like people I met at auditions. And so I tried to write it because I kind of thought that the experience would make me grow. It was a huge education. You know, my mother is a great line. How do you want your obituary to read? People in the moment might think, ah, what a dummy he's publishing a book. Who does he think he is?"
