Quantum Computers Are a Quantum Computing Network

Quantum computers are far harder to engineer than classical computers of course but not for the same reason. Lloyd 1995 has summed this up in the aphorism quote. Almost any physical system becomes a quantum computer if you shine the right sort of light on it end quote. Once that is achieved no shaping or machining is necessary because the interactions that quantum systems undergo as a matter of course are already computationally universal. The second aspect of universality is that quantum networks are a universal model for quantum computation.
