The Impact of Partisanship on Politics
Partisanship in politics is at an all time high. Jim Miller says it's almost like watching SportsCenter because you're rooting for your causes and the candidates, where the politicians are like the MVPs on your team. In sports, there's a shared reality of the score, the time on the clock, in balance or out of balance. So we don't have any of those things in politics. And politics is a far, far more dangerous, divisive, destructive world than sports.
