The Most Important Thing to Get Right With Social Media as a Creator
The most important thing to get right with social media as a creator is to redefine what you mean by social media in the first place. Ask yourself where do people genuinely discover the type of work that I create online and define that as social media so for you as a musician it's probably Spotify. There are times when musicians blow up on TikTok but they are massive exceptions if you think about all of the artists all the musicians that you have discovered over the past five years where have you discovered them? And a second I'm going to talk about how some musicians really utilize Spotify in this way to seemingly great effect.
