The Pressure on Professors to Sell Equal Education
I don't think most of our listeners really appreciate the pressures that professors come under when these sorts of things come up. Even under the best of circumstances, I've had deans walk into my office and say, you can't fail this person to which I replied. This person plagiarized every single assignment. So these are the realities that we're up against, right? Most professors in order not to suffer, just give everybody A's and B's and just call it good,. They don't even care what the grading looks like.
