Florida Taxpayers Can't Spend Taxpayer Money to Transport Migrants From Texas to Martha's Vineyard
Ron DeSantis flew migrants from Texas to Martha's Vineyard on taxpayer money. The Florida governor is now being sued by the state for violating campaign finance laws, which would require him to prove that he got a benefit out of it. "I'm not annoyed if my taxpayer money goes to help people who lost their homes in Florida," says CNN political analyst John Avlon. 'But why am I paying money to transport migrants from Texas?' asks Avlon.
