Jerry seinfelt, who was looking to do a special where he revisited all his early material leading up to his first tonight show appearance. He wanted to sort of tell the story of himself growing up as a comedy obsessed kid. About 80 or 90 % stand up. But everybody sort of couched in this documentary, story telling om to complement what was going on.
