CHAPTER

The Relationship Between African Philosophy and Methodological Debate

In the first chapter, you are trying to diagnose this relationship in African philosophy with particular communities and their beliefs. So, maybe you can help me understand a little bit what is it that you're diagnosing? It seems like you want to say yes, there are some criticisms to be made for ethnophilosophy, but also there are some really negative impacts that have happened by this internal criticism of ethnophILosophy. Oh, yes, what I try to do in the first chapter which leaves the foundation of the argument and the rest of the book is to try and map out the kind of discussions and debate that happened within African philosophy.
