The Speed of Light Is the Same

The speed of light is constant the whole universe, and if an intelligent civilization were to pop up somewhere, what's the one sign that like, ok, you are officially a superintelligent civilization? Well, you figure out the speed of light, because no matter where you are in the universe, you'll come up with the same number. There are a lot of reasons why this is just a coincidence. I will admit is absolutely mind boggling to mee, i just cant hot my head around this. Maybe there is no real correlation between the two values, but it's insane that they line up so well.
