Ympathy Embodied in Jesus
Ympathy is a deep sense of fellow feeling, of the sense of stepping into one's shoes and feeling what the other does. In this passage, jesus is presented as a high priest who is actually fully able to ympathize. That extended to the human the whole human race. And so as christians, if we are to image and reflect jesus and the incarnation, the incarnate one, i think we have to embrace this. We have to figure out a way and work. It's going to be imperfect. It'sgoing to be halting, because we're we're fallen beings on the way. But we're going to have to figure it out
