Is the Other a Good Book for Women of Color?
The book is called the other, and i really had a hard time coming with the title. I'm still kind of getting used to it, because i really don't like it, right? Nobody wants to be different. You know, being different, we've been told, is a liability. But i decided to keep the title because it was a way to understand and nod to the lived experiences of other women of color. And so that's what i get into on the book, because it's really important to not just give women strategies and tips on how to advocate better but to really link it to our lived experiences.
