Is It Possible to Render Your Home Screen Widgets With Flutter on iOS?
I gave a workshop at Flutter Forward on home screen widgets. It doesn't seem like it's possible to render your home screen widgets with Flutter on iOS right now because of the restrictions they have. I think they don't allow you to actually use the metal, which is how Flutter paints its UI. So if we can somehow abstract that, that would be really awesome. Because it seems like Andrew has something for a while and all of a sudden iOS is like, hmm, that's a good idea.
