The Role of Intersectionality in Sociology
In sociology, intersectionality is the idea that you can't separate one identity from another. Christy: Identity played a huge part in this election on all sides and including minor candidates like Jill Stein. She says it's essential to understand how individuals are moving through society. "I think if we can look at the intersections that people are carrying ... then that's the better way," she says.
