The Importance of Immigrants in Startups
The National Foundation for American Policy found that 55% of the top startups in America were started by immigrants. If you expand that to immigrants or their kids founding or co-founding, it was two-thirds. 22% of business owners in the US are immigrants, even though they're only 17% of the labor force. And if we were a less hospitable economy, they would have been created elsewhere.
