Mort Freedman, a Prosecutor in Cook County, Illinois

Mort freedman, in his eighties now and long retired, was a prosecutor at the cook county states attorney's office. His job was basically prosecuting criminals for a range of misdeeds,. anything from theft murder to drug dealing. Mort began to suspect that the judge was being paid off. After all, this was chicago, and this particular defense lawyer allegedly had mob ties. The fbi eventually got involved, marshalling hundreds of agents. They were going to war. And in a way, this all set the stage for bob to make the most important decision of his life, to switch sides.
