The Importance of Diversity in the Industry
My dad was a DJ in the 70s at Pontins holiday camp in Boston. So I guess that rubbed off on me. My mom basically just asked anyone at her work if they had vinyls. Do you know what's so weird? One of my best mates in high school, his dad was aDJ. And it was a similar time that I was starting to DJ. It used to be amazing going to his house and all these records in the room. We used to just get some out and have a play around on them. But now I'm like, oh, I've got to go to some Prince.
