The Advantages of Using a Corporation as a Real Estate Investor
Dan: What would you say are the main advantages of using a corporation as a real estate investor and why people might do that? Dan: From a tax perspective, purchasing a property on the primary residence side, one of the primary benefits for somebody, an owner, occupier is that it's capital gains exempt. On the flip side, there's beyond just the tax element, there's advantages to using a corporation for the individual. So when you're transacting from the corporation, it's the actual corporation that istransacting as buying properties.
