The Conflict Between Housing Affordability and Growth and Density
As neighborhoods get more dense, there's conflict over which kinds of trees can be planted and how big they can be. Some neighborhoods in my understanding are allowing for many less trees and some trees are being cut down in favor of density. I was wandering around London yesterday taking photos of what I would consider to be sick trees. And that really worries me because if we were to lose, and I just want to round Parliament Square looking at very sick trees, I'm thinking that will look completely different. You need quite a resilient tree to cope with that.
