The History of the Noise Academy

The noise academy was destroyed by a drunken mob in Canaan, New Hampshire. Ben Porter and Jacob Trussell were responsible for the destruction of the schoolhouse. The group then drove black students from their boarding homes. Many went on to become prominent members of the abolitionist movement.
