Schizophrenia itself effects 1% of the population of the world. Many are in prison and on our streets everywhere. Some are lucky enough to live in adult care or with their families. Some are savvy enough to maintain their medication, therapy, facing the disorder straight on and managing to live a somewhat normal life. With boys it usually blossoms around 18 and women around 28.
