M j 12 was at heart a genuine conspiracy, but it just wasn't about extra terrestrials. The news of this happening was not particularly well received and moore soon left the u f o community in disgrace. But he did seem to genuinely believe that m j 12 was a sort of kind of reward for his work with the air forces disinformation campaigns. If this is case, and fellow conspiracy realists, the evidence overwhelmingly indicates it is, then that means this conspiracy was successful. In fact, it was much more successful than its original authors could ever imagined.
