The Role of Machine Learning in Medical AI
The USMLE step three has a component, which is essentially the examiner role playing with the examinee. I have no doubt that the GPT technology will be able to at least augment that if not even replace aspects of that. It's an extremely controversial thing and maybe even a wrong thing in some deep human sense to anthropomorphize these AIs. And yet when that happens, I think that that is where some of the most important help for clinicians is going to come from.
