Decoupled Content Management Systems - Should Soft or Engineers Care?

If you have needs thera content management system's usually a good idea. I sometimes wonder if people have the impression maybe those are for designers rather than engineers or architects. So in other words, why should we care? Ye, it's a good question to ask, because i i really do run up against that one. It may not be what's getting a lot of the press or attention, but there's definitely use there.
