Sex and Conversation - Is There a Commonality?

There's a commonality between sex and conversation. Both are trying to coordinate on something where you can also independently stand by that thing. It fails precisely when what you coordinate on is something that doesn't resonate with you at the individual level, right? So there's the possibility of failure there, which is really interesting. And i'm not sure, like, is there the same possibility of failure in the other cases? Not, and maybe not in all of them.
