The Role of Ketogenic Diets in Chronic Kidney Disease
Ketogenic diets have been reported to be both beneficial and harmful for kidney function. People with chronic kidney disease, the majority of them actually are people who have diabetic nephrophothes. The next largest group is people who have hypertensive nephroscorosis which causes chronic kidney disease. So maybe not the standard of care, but certainly an option that doctors should be aware of.
