Is Peer Review Really Helping You Improve Your Statistic Knowledge?

I've never got anyone to review something that I've written to improve the statistical nature of the paper ever. So when people get it into their heads, there's one right way. You have to, there's no sense of understanding the principles involved. But they've got their thing and they want you to use their thing. Yeah. Is my contention therefore that peer review very rarely helps you improve your own statistical knowledge?Yeah,. I mean, going back to sort of personal bug bears, actually one of my really big bug bears is reviewers commenting on my stats. It absolutely drives me nuts.
